Travel
by roomy taxi to the southernmost tip of India,
the rocky cliffs of Kanyakumari associated with
the goddess, Kumari where the three great Indian

Early
morning sun tan on the deck and before lunch
you will disembark at Alleppey. Check into a
Heritage Home overlooking the beach for lunch,
stroll along the seafront afterwards. Rest of

It's
time to explore the roads to Kollam (Alumkadavu
boat jetty) by car and begin an overnight
cruise by houseboat on the beautiful Kerala
backwaters. The lush palms, coconuts, even
the villagers on the riverbank will enthral
you. Your own staff of three will look after
you and serve you fresh vegetable curries,
grilled fish, fluffy rice pancakes. Here you
get a real glimpse of village life as the
ladies wash their clothes on the river bank
and the men punt past in light traditional
fishing boats. Before you drop anchor for
the night there may be a stop at a toddy (alcoholic
drink made from tapping coconut) shop…… Sleep
